The 12th Annual Conference took place in Thessaloniki on 13–14 December 2013, organised by the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia under the theme “Entrepreneurship: A Lever for Investment and Employment”.
Proceedings opened on Friday at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, with speakers including Spyros Makridakis (INSEAD) on “The Great Greek Challenge: Creating a Silicon Valley”. On Saturday research papers were presented at the University of Macedonia, including a separate doctoral session.
Selected papers were to be submitted to the Multinational Finance Journal, the Journal of Economic Asymmetries, the International Journal of Financial Engineering and Risk Management and the International Journal of Corporate Finance and Accounting.
